About the Foundation
In the mid 1960's when Grande Ronde Hospital was transitioned from a private, for-profit hospital into a private, not-for-profit hospital, the Board of Trustees created a supporting organization to enable the community to support and engage with the hospital. The Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation was formally created in 1969, understanding that community support was needed to ensure staff had up-to-date equipment and training, as well as to be able to continually grow to meet the needs of our community.
Since then, the Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation has contributed more than $5.2 million in funding to the purchase of patient care equipment, projects, and service line expansion.
As a 501(c)3 charitable organization, the GRH Foundation is able to receive donations of all types to enable the independent, locally governed health care Grande Ronde Hospital provides to our community.
